Auction Information
6 p.m. — Buyer registration
6:30 p.m. — Auction begins
Location: County Barn at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds
Can’t Attend the Auction?
You can still support an exhibitor through the Add-On Program. Add-ons allow supporters to contribute additional money to an exhibitor beyond the amount received through the auction.
How the Auction Works
The Junior Livestock Auction showcases market projects raised by local 4-H and FFA members. Exhibitors earn their place in the sale through the Junior Livestock Show, with eligible projects selling in the order established by their show placing.
Register to Buy: Buyers should arrive beginning at 6 p.m. to register before the auction.
Bid: When an exhibitor enters the auction ring, registered buyers have the opportunity to bid and support that exhibitor and project.
Add-On Support: Want to support an exhibitor without purchasing through the auction? Add-ons provide another way for supporters to make a financial contribution directly to a participating exhibitor.
Who Can Be a Buyer?
Businesses, organizations, groups of friends and individuals can all take part in supporting our youth exhibitors.
First-time buyers are welcome! Buyer registration begins at 6 p.m., giving you time to get registered before the auction starts at 6:30 p.m.
Thank You to Our Buyers & Supporters
The Junior Livestock Auction would not be possible without the businesses, organizations and individuals who support Calhoun County’s youth exhibitors. Their generosity helps reward months of hard work, responsibility and dedication.
